 CAA Gag Clause Attestation

Annual attestation of compliance with the Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) that plan sponsor has not entered into contracts that would restrict the plan or issuer from providing, accessing, or sharing certain information about provider price and quality and de-identified claims.

Drug Transparency

Drug Transparency laws require detailed disclosure of prescription drug costs with health plans. Our plans comply with these requirements, providing your employees with transparent and detailed information about their medication expenses.

Section 125

Section 125 of the IRS code offers pre-tax benefits, but requires businesses compliance in enforcing non-discrimination rules and contribution limits. Available as an add-on to our plans, Planstin's Section 125 service handles all compliance requirements for you.

ACA COMPLIANCE

Planstin administers a range of health plans that provide minimum essential coverage (MEC) or minimum value coverage (MVP). This means that you can confidently avoid the costly Employer Shared Responsibility Penalty Part A or B.

Planstin's health plans are also flexible and can be tailored to meet your specific needs. So, whether you're looking for a plan that manages basic medical needs or one that provides more comprehensive care, Planstin has you covered.

MVP

Employers with more than 50 full-time, or full-time equivalent, employees must offer MEC-compliant health plans to full-time employees and their dependents, or face a tax penalty. This Employer Shared Responsibility Penalty (Section 4980H-Part A) is equal to $2,970 (2024) for every full-time employee after the first 30—even if those employees have coverage from another source.

A second type of Employer Shared Responsibility Penalty (Section 4980H-Part B) may apply to employers who offer MEC plans that are not Minimum Value Plans (MVP). This penalty is $371.66 (2024) per month for each full-time employee who receives subsidized coverage through the marketplace. However, this penalty is only assessed per employee who receives tax subsidized insurance (not every full-time employee) and cannot exceed the first penalty.
